Dipika Kakar Discharged After 11 Days, Shoaib Says 'Still a Long Way to Go'

Dipika Kakar Discharged From Hospital: Dipika Kakar, who became famous as Simar in every household from the serial 'Sasural Simar Ka',  has been discharged from the hospital after stage 2 liver cancer surgery. The actress was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for 11 days. Now Shoaib Ibrahim has given a big information about his wife Dipika Kakar. The actor said that she will have to come again and again for follow-up because the tumor was malignant.

Dipika Kakar Discharged From Hospital after 11 days

In fact, Shoaib Ibrahim shared Deepika Kakkar's health update in his latest vlog and said, "She has been discharged after 11 days and has come for a checkup. The last few days have been incredibly difficult for me and my family, but we are grateful for everyone's prayers and support. This is just one part. There are still many things left. Everything is fine right now, but we have just crossed a milestone. There are still many things left that we have to look into. As the doctors guide us, we will continue to follow it. But the biggest part is that the surgery went well. Deepika is also recovering. Yes, there are still many things left that need to be done. Hopefully she will also recover".

When Shoaib got emotional

Along with this, Shoaib recalled the emotional moment in the vlog when the doctor informed him that Dipika's tumor was malignant. He said that both of them cried in the presence of the doctor. He praised the doctor's understanding and said that the doctor gave them space and said, "Take your time, we understand".

Shoaib spoke about Deepika's health 

Talking about Dipika's health, Shoaib Ibrahim said, "Everything is fine, but we have to come for follow-up frequently as the tumor was malignant. That condition has to be monitored. Also, they have asked us to come back in a week. After that, they will decide what further treatment is needed - whether something needs to be done or not. For now, we are taking one step at a time".

Dipika Kakar underwent a 14-hour-long surgery 

Dipika Kakar was diagnosed with a tumour in her liver in May. Earlier this month, Dipika underwent a 14-hour-long surgery for her stage 2 liver cancer. In his vlog video on YouTube, Shoaib shared that during the surgery, Dipika's gall bladder as well as a small part of her liver were removed.
